Synopsis

The kids from both Gurukuls are trained by two Gurus. They are two brothers with two distinct ideologies. While Guru Palan believes in bringing the best out of his students with light hearted methods, valuing their age and innocence, Guru Veta believes in rigid military form of training.

After their early morning training session, the students go back to their regular life. They go to school, study, prank their friends and play video games like other regular kids.

The thick jungle surrounding Kalaripuram holds many magical secrets, which keeps the undesirable polluters, promoters, rambunctious tourists and other evildoers out. The magic protects the jungle and the town of Kalaripuram!

A long time ago, deep in jungle, a legendary Guru once discovered how to channel this magic through Kalari. He passed on his secrets to his two sons Guru Palan and Guru Veta. Palan's pure heart gives him more power in invoking these magical forces and neutralizing Veta when he attempts to misuse them.

Headstrong and impulsive Beenu is Palan's protege. The Guru believes that one day he will be able to master the art of Kalari and if he is able to work enough on himself, maybe even the jungles magical powers!

A long time ago, deep in the thick magical jungles that protects the village of Kalaripuram, a legendary and wise Guru discovered how to channel this magic through the ancient martial art of Kararipayattu. He passed on these secrets to his two sons, Guru Palan and Guru Veta.

Kalari Kids follows the lives of the two Gurus, their contrasting ideologies and their students. While Guru Palan believes in bringing the best out of his students with a more flexible and out of the box method of teaching, Guru Veta does the same in military style training. Guru Palan's pure heart gives him the power to neutralize Guru Palan's attempts at misusing the magical powers their father passed on to them.

While both the Gurus have their favorite students, Beenu is Guru Palan's protege who he believes will one day master the art of Kalari and maybe even the jungle's magical powers.

Outside of the Gurukul, the kids lead the life of regular kids whether it's playing pranks on each other, studying or playing video games.
